Binghamton - Jan. 15: Binghamton had a 1 point lead going into the 4th, but finished strong to win 47 - 39. Aaron had a stellar performance with 17 boards and 24 points in the loss. Just to impatient on offense!
Twin Tiers - Jan. 9: A winnable game, but the Wolfpack was to impatient on offense, losing 50 - 38, offsetting a fine game by Glenn, with 19 boards, 13 points, and 4 blocks. John Torres lead TTCA with 21 points. The varsity record now stands at 6-6.
Union Springs - Jan. 7: In this rematch, the Wolfpack did a much better job of rebounding, winning 49 - 32. Both Aaron and Glenn had double-doubles.
New Life - Jan. 5: New Life, with a balance effort and 8 3's, beat the Wolfpack 79 - 57. The Wolfpack were without the services of Luke, but Glenn had a double-double of 16 boards and 17 points. Josiah was high with 18 points.
Rochester - Jan. 2: Against a physical, balanced Rochester squad, we lost 51-64. We were missing Tom, Aaron sat out the 2nd quarter with 3 fouls, and Luke sat out the second half. Sebastian and Nick filled in admirably, what with Zack being sick. Josiah had 23 points, and Aaron 14 boards. Glenn won the efficiency award with 19.
Binghamton - Dec. 19: We had a terrific first quarter using our fast break, and went on to win 51-24. Tom, a first year varsity player, really stepped up with 7 steals and 8 points. The JV continued to work at jelling, and learning the game of basketball, scoring 22 points, and being within 7 at one point in the 4th quarter. So at the break, we stand 5-3. Glenn won the efficiency award with 27.
Williamsport - Dec. 18: Good, competitive game, with Aaron having a monster game (18 boards and 24 points), Luke adding 13 points and Glenn 12 boards. Got the lead and kept it, winning 51-44. Aaron won the efficiency award with 29.
Union Springs - Dec. 15: A rare event - Glenn, Luke and Aaron all had double-doubles for the game, with a 61-43 final score, which was important as Josiah wasn't able to play! Luke won the efficiency award with 26.
Cornerstone Academy - Dec. 11: The varsity won 40-12, with Aaron netting 18 points and Glenn 12 boards. Aaron won the efficiency award with 28.
George Jr. - Dec. 8: Despite our turnovers and poor shooting, George Jr. was missing a ton of foul shots, so with 18 seconds left we were down 1 point, with the ball. We ran our play and got the shot we wanted on the low post, but it was blocked. We then inbounded with 3 seconds left, and got our shot in the paint, but it bounced out, so we lost 46-47! Glenn had a terrific game of 15 boards, 3 assists, 5 steals and 4 blocks, with only 2 TOs. Aaron was game high with 26 points. Glenn and Aaron tiled the efficiency award with 23.
Elmira - Dec. 5: Elmira shot 68% from 2 point range - mostly layups, to win 66-49, with one of our starters missing, and another receiving a broken nose in the first half. Aaron has a nice game with 14 boards, 16 points, 6 assists and only 1 TO. Luke made 5 threes. Zak and Sebastian stepped in to help. The JV played better, but came up short. They're learning! Luke won the efficiency award with 13.
Cortland - Dec. 4: A nice, but close win for varsity, 46-42. We overcame a full-court press and some offensive rustiness to prevail. Aaron has 13 boards, Luke 6 steals. Aaron won the efficiency award with 16.
Ross Corners - Dec. 1: The varsity team played good defense, holding Ross Corners to 45 points, but was rusty on offense, scoring 27. Lack of practice, and whom to practice against didn't help - but there is lots of potential and opportunity for improvement. The JV team was outmatched by a much taller and older team, also losing. Glenn won the efficiency award with 15.
